Hand-Carved Prajna Refill Lighter – A Fusion of Art and Spirituality

A Guardian Mask, Cut by Hand

The Prajna mask has guarded temple gates and theater stages for centuries — a fierce face meant to keep misfortune away. Here it is hand-carved into solid brass in deep relief, so light pools in the hollows and every angle shows a different expression.

Details Collectors Notice

• True hand carving — tooled by an artisan, not stamped; no two shells come out identical.
• Deep-relief shadowwork — the mask reads clearly across the room, not just up close.
• Standard flip-top size — 58 × 39 × 13 mm; carries like a classic and takes standard consumables.
• Living brass — uncoated surfaces darken where your thumb rests, making it yours over time.

Why Buy It From Flare

• Gift-ready packaging: gift bag, velvet pouch, greeting card.
• Free maintenance kit — cotton, wick, spare flints.

Fuel & Care

Ships unfueled — add lighter fluid on arrival (how-to). To keep the carving crisp, brush dust from the recesses with a dry soft brush; polish only if you prefer bright brass over patina. Wick and flint replace normally (guide).

FAQ

Is every piece identical?
No — hand carving varies slightly from shell to shell. Yours is effectively one of one.

Will it tarnish?
It will patina — most owners consider that the best part. A metal polish restores the bright finish in minutes if you prefer.
